Az eredeti recept:

Fogunk hat-nyolc méretes sast, felhúzzuk őket egy fapálcára, úgy hogy a csőrükön keresztül menjen be a pálca és a végbélnyíláson jöjjön ki.

Fél órát roston pirosra sütjük őket ügyelve arra, hogy minden oldaluk kellően megpuhuljon.Majd egy éles késsel (ajánlanám a gyrosos húsvágó kést) körbevágjuk a pálcán lévő ízletes sashúst, figyelve arra, hogy a kakkantónyílásokba ne vágjunk bele. A levágott húsokat adhatjuk a kutyáknak és a pálcán maradó különleges csemegét, az ízletes saslikot, tetszés szerinti körettel és salátával tálaljuk.
